I stumbled upon this and found it rather interesting. Imagine you are walking along the same streets of London and you see something new. A block of text on windows, on the roads, in the parks etc. Each excerpt would have caught your attention, thus you feel like buying a book to find out what it is.
I think if I was in London when that happened I would be walking a lot more, checking the maps online just to read all the excerpts and if I have the money, I would have been impulsive over the books.
I think this was a great concept but unfortunately I saw the website first. I have to admit not liking the website first, because I felt the pages of the site looks fake. The concept of the book is fine but I guess that the fact that the pages look fake kinda irks me. The only time I checked back the website is when I found pictures here.
But I really like the logo. If it was all straight, it will look like buildings. With varying thickness and having them to slant at a certain angle, it looks like a messy shelf.
