The Observatory recently released a new album titled ‘Dark Folke.’ I had the first album and I really like how they package their albums.
As last week I went to Singapore for Da Vinci Exhibition and Van Gogh movie, I also took the chance to buy cds there, though the exchange rate for Singapore had gone up higher. As I was browsing through the shelves, I saw The Observatory latest album.
Though I never heard the music for this album before, but I really like the packaging of the album so much that I bought it. Ah, I wish I was working in Singapore because if I’m earning Singapore dollars, cds would be cheaper. Heck, Subway is cheaper too.
Sorry, I digress. Here is how The Observatory latest album looks like.

As for the music, it is very experimental and I’m taking awhile to appreciate it. Not quite used to it but I realised that this time the band really experiment a lot with different type of sounds, which I like. After all, I do take a liking to synthesizers and will still like to explore how the synthesizers work.
To end this post, I’ll add in what was written in one of the pages:
Black is whatever you imagined
It is also everything else
There is no escaping it
There is no knowing it
Black is wherever you are
Between thoughts, breaths, steps.
