I enjoyed this year exposition better than last year. Firstly, I wasn’t sick. Also I was the early person to go in on the first day. I have learnt that going on the first day is a good thing because that’s where you get to meet the artists. Go at the later days and you only meet their assistants. Since I was not sick and I was trigger happy, I shall break this into a few parts. I even have not finish re-sizing my photos yet! Also, I’m trying something new for this photos. Most of the time whenever I write, I’ll try to think of the art aspects and try to decipher the artists’ intention. This time, I’m just going against that and write something different. I’m not too sure it will be for now. Maybe something in 140 characters, maybe something humourous. Maybe something lame as I’m not a copywriter.

Yes, Bank Negara has an museum and art galleries. I’m surprised too and I spoke to the people and they told me that they didn’t promote much about it until the next three galleries open which is by this month. The final and the sixth gallery will be opened end of the year.

This was the first painting I saw in the art expo and I realised it was my former lecturer’s work. I spoke to the Bank Negara staff and they show me her photo to verify whether she was my lecturer. True enough, I saw the picture of her and her husband, Tengku Sabri, which was also my lecturers too.
My lecturers are very good artists, but I’m not too sure whether it is a syllabus problem or teaching problems that most people in my batch can’t draw that well. We keep that to another day.
